The Jobs Page
Let's take a look at your active jobs in the "Jobs" tab. This is where recruiters and hiring managers will go to Follow, Edit, and Incentivize your company's job requisitions. Your default Jobs dashboard view will look something like the one below. All positions will either be auto-populated from your Applicant Tracking System or will have been uploaded manually.
Highlighted in the red box, you can see the actions you can take through Simppler. Here, you can:
Follow Jobs - As a recruiter, you can elect to receive referrals only for the job(s) you are responsible for filling. Hover over the job you would like to follow and click the "+Follow" button. A job can be unfollowed by clicking the same button. You'll begin to receive referral notifications in your email specifically for those jobs. If you do not follow any jobs, you'll receive notifications for all jobs.
Edit Jobs - Although we pull jobs and descriptions directly from your ATS, you may elect to change the content of those descriptions for a few reasons:
- Add a perfect candidate: Our algorithm does a good job of surfacing recommendations, but you may have a very specific set of skills in mind. If there's someone out there whom you think embodies all the skills and traits of that position, just search their name and add them to the Perfect Candidate box. Our algorithm will adjust to look for people just like him/her.
- Additionally, adding key words or phrases to your job description powers up" our algorithm. The more specific you are in your descriptions, the better our recommendations become. IE, you and your users will get much stronger recommendations if Simppler's algorithm knows to look for "10+ years managing Engineering teams in the mobile gaming industry" rather than "proven software track record".
Hot Jobs - Marking a job "hot" will prioritize and mark the position in the employee's view. This way, you can get recommendations for these positions front and center.
Define Referral Bonus - People love prizes. Simppler has made it easy to reward your employees and track referral bonuses from our platform. Click on the little "money bag" to define a prize for a specific job.
In the pop-up, enter either a cash prize or gift (iPad, VR Headset, Drone, Giant Gummy Bear...), a catchy tag line, and a description of the campaign, and your employees will see the ad posted next to the job when they're referring candidates through Simppler.
Archive a Job - Lastly, you can remove a job from your jobs view and from employees' recommendations. Note, this can also be accomplished automatically by closing or archiving the job in your ATS.
